What did the poor little thing CUPSy did to you to make you feel defeated? :D (Yeah I know that setting cups up can be a real bitchy thing but it would be interesting to share this case maybe someone could help…)

It didn't support https-URLs – it has since been defeated. Being forced to type on a Mac keyboard still leads to unexpected results for me though, especially when typingtrying to type @ e.g. when creating a SSH session on a terminal…

I've been playing with a neat MacBooc Pro at work lately as well and had to bring some Linux code to compile there. That is how I came across the Fink project, so I thought it might be useful for you the next time you have to fight MacOS again. It is a port of many Linux packages (actually a port of the apt system from Debian as it seems). So anyway here is the link : http://www.finkproject.org/ . Cheers, Jul P.S. The one button touchpad navigation can be bitchy but gets somewhat perversely funny with time. :P
